Q: IF WE ARE TO SUMMARIZE IN 3 WORDS, WHO YOU ARE AND OR, HOW YOU IDENTIFY IN YOUR LIFE TODAY? WHAT WOULD THOSE 3 WORDS BE?
JUDY - “The four words that best describe who I am, would be - strong willed, focused, thoughtful & being a mentor. “
Q: WHY BOULDER? WHEN DID YOU GET HERE? AND HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN?
JUDY - “After living on both coasts of the US and places in between I moved to Boulder from Boston,MA - 13 years ago. When asked why - she stated ‘because I could. “
Q: WHAT’S IT LIKE TO BE A LEADER AND A WOMAN IN YOUR SPACE?
JUDY - “I love it! I enjoy the people, the space, and making a difference for those that surround me.’ I have a background in financial services as a banker, and I currently am the CEO of a design firm. I brought corporate structure to a creative space, and created a bridge between two worlds : the design world, dominated mainly by women & the construction world, mainly dominated by men.”
Q: WITH BOULDER HAIR COLLECTIVE BEING OUR COMMON DENOMINATOR HERE, BEAUTY AND SELF-CARE IS CLEARLY A PRIORITY OF YOURS. FOR OUR READERS, WHAT BEAUTY ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE THEM?
JUDY - “The beauty advice I would give to others would be this; Embrace where you are, move with the changes, and enhance yourself in whatever form feels fit.”
Q: DESCRIBE YOUR HAIR NEEDS OR PRODUCTS YOU USE?
JUDY - “I love the Balmain line that my stylist, Trey, has introduced me to. This product line is a step above! It makes my hair care easy, and keeps it feeling and looking its best.”
Q: WHAT’S A NIGHT OUT IN BOULDER LIKE FOR YOU?
JUDY - “My ideal night out is actually a night in, and spending it at home with my husband; Having a wonderful evening by cooking dinner together, sitting on our deck overlooking the Flatirons, with a cocktail in hand, which is usually a Boulevardier with an orange twist.
Q: SPECIFICALLY FOR OUR WOMEN READERS, WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE THEM “ MOTHERS, WIVES, FRIENDS AND FUTURE BUSINESS WOMEN” ?
JUDY - “The advice that I would give to all the women reading this right now would be - ‘Enjoy the ride.’ “
