Martin Lopez is a master hair cutter with over 30 years of experience as a stylist and educator, celebrated for his precision, creativity, and transformative approach to hair and is also bilingual with Spanish-speaking as his first language. His journey began in San Francisco with an apprenticeship under the legendary Vidal Sassoon, where he developed a sharp eye for structure and impeccable technique. He then took his talent abroad, joining the Vidal Sassoon team in Hamburg, Germany, refining his skills on an international stage alongside some of the industry’s best. Driven by a passion for excellence, Martin went on to complete an intensive, year-long apprenticeship with the late John Sahag in New York City, further elevating his craft.

In 2003, Martin brought his expertise to Dallas, Texas, where he quickly earned a reputation as one of the city’s most sought-after and respected stylists. Renowned for his exceptional cutting abilities, he specializes in curly hair, modern bobs, and age-defying styles that are both sophisticated and effortlessly wearable. His cuts are known for their movement, balance, and longevity—hair that grows out beautifully and consistently exceeds expectations.

Beyond the chair, Martin has made a lasting impact as an educator and mentor, training many of today’s top stylists and contributing to the success of iconic salons such as diPietro Todd in San Francisco and Parlour Salon in Cincinnati.
